JetStream – An Online School for Weather
It’s not a meterology degree, but JetStream, the online weather school created by the National Weather Service, is a great site for anyone interested in learning about weather. The site was designed with educators and emergency managers in mind as well as anyone who wants to learn more about weather. Lessons cover the weather spectrum: air masses, wind, cloud formation, lightning, hail, thunderstorms, tsunamis and more. The information seems to be broken down into easily read lessons that present a good amount of information without getting too technical or overwhelming.
